SIAVY – Cancellation Policy
(Aligned with Saudi Consumer Protection Regulations)
1. Purpose & Regulatory Alignment
This Cancellation Policy is designed in accordance with applicable Saudi Arabian consumer protection laws and regulations, ensuring transparency, fairness, and protection of user rights. SIAVY commits to providing clear cancellation and refund terms prior to booking confirmation.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all services booked through the SIAVY platform, unless a specific service states otherwise at the time of booking.
3. User-Initiated Cancellations
a. Cancellation Before Service Confirmation
- If a user cancels a booking before it is confirmed by the service provider, the user is entitled to a full refund, with no deductions.
b. Cancellation After Service Confirmation
- If cancellation is made within the clearly stated free-cancellation period, the user will receive a full refund.
- If cancellation occurs after the free-cancellation period, a partial cancellation fee may apply, which will be:
- Clearly disclosed at the time of booking
- Proportionate to the service preparation cost
- No-show or last-minute cancellations may result in a charge of up to 100% of the booking value, where permitted by law and disclosed in advance.
4. Service Provider-Initiated Cancellations
- If a confirmed booking is canceled by the service provider:
- The user is entitled to a full refund, including all platform fees.
- SIAVY may take corrective action against repeated or unjustified cancellations, including penalties or account suspension.
5. Refund Method & Timeline
- Refunds will be processed to the original payment method used during booking.
- In compliance with Saudi regulations:
- Refunds are typically processed within 7–14 business days, depending on the payment provider.
- Non-refundable third-party transaction fees (if any) will be disclosed before payment.
6. Exceptional Circumstances (Force Majeure)
Cancellation fees may be waived in cases such as:
- Medical emergencies (with reasonable verification)
- Government restrictions or official orders
- Natural disasters or unavoidable external events
- Platform-verified service failures
Each case is reviewed individually to ensure fairness.
7. Transparency & Policy Updates
- SIAVY reserves the right to update this policy to remain compliant with Saudi laws.
- Any changes will be published on the platform and apply only to future bookings.
- Continued use of SIAVY constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
8. Dispute Resolution & Support
- Users may raise disputes through SIAVY support channels.
- If unresolved, users retain the right to escalate complaints through relevant Saudi consumer protection authorities.
